I was surprised that eating mochi with sweet soy sause was not the best popular seasoning and 66.7% of them like ichigo daihuku. That was interesting survey!

返信削除I'm not surprised that ichigo daifuku is the favorite. I think it would sell well abroad too. I sometimes find mochi a little dry but the strawberry in the rice cake (ichigo daifuku) solves this problem for me.

返信削除Hi Shun! thanks for analyzing your survey, it is interesting to see that ichigo daifuku scored the highest in your survey, I actually like it too because the taste is very unique. I think that this type of mochi hasn`t been sold in Indonesia so it is a good business opportunity.
返信削除It is surprising for me that most of the respondents eat mochi at home instead of the stall stand. As mochi is quite favorable for Japanese, it might not has the same result in Indonesia. I would suggest to do further survey targeting on Indonesian if one wants to open mochi business there as they both have different characteristic and preference.
